Frio / Cold

A frase ecoa, no entanto.

Today it is cold. I can feel it in my skin.

On TV, they talk about statístics, headlines with the word poverty.
It's numbers and words, which do not show the meaning.
The look on a child's face, looking at me, with her sad eyes. She tells me something so simple, she sees something in that person, seating next to her on that bench. In that time fraction, I'm surprised. The sentece made an eco, though. She got up, running, went to her parents, who called her, in a hurry. I couldn't know what was the name of the little doll with messy hair, with so few clothes, if she had any expression in her eyes, it would certainly be as sad as the one in the hands holding it.
Further back in time, I'm in Fátima's Sanctuary, in the middle of the area. A men and a boy, far, far enough so that I can see him shouting at his son, pushing him careless. And then he sees what he's looking for: tourists. And he goes closer, now holding the child's hand, certainly making a studyied ang used speech. I was in a place of worship, mas God wasn't the one holding the child's hand, it was a men. A men in who I saw the poverty I can't see in TV. The one that is not seen... Not because it's hidden, but because it can't be measured in numbers....

It is cold today. I can feel it my bones, I can feel it in my soul!
